Street luge reacer Noah Ritherford shows his damaged luge and a dislocated arm he suffered after a nasty fall during a race at the Gravity Festival at McLaren Park in San Francisco on September 26, 2004. Kludy who could not move after the fall was rushed to the hospital where he was diagnosed with a fractured tail bone.
The San Francisco Gravity Festival is an extreme downhill race featuring the world top professional racers in downhill skateboard, street luge, gravity speed bikes and downhill inline skating. Racers can reach speeds of over 60 miles per hour on the half mile course.
