Pills of food supplements are inserted into the slices of salmon that will be fed to the young female Great White Shark at the Monterey Bay Aquarium on Nov 23, 2004.
The Monterey Bay Aquarium put a female Great White Shark on exhibit in a million-gallon aquarium on September 14, 2004, three weeks after she was inadvertently caught in a commercial fishing net off Huntington Beach in Southern California. There are no other Great White Sharks on display in the world today, and no aquarium has ever exhibited a Great White Shark for more than 16 days.
