David Hoggan of the Berkeley Kite Wranglers hammers down a stick to hook up of the giant kites he and his team fly during the kite festival. Some of the giant kites pull so much force that a line tested up to 5,200 lbs is sometimes needed. Thousands of people came to watch the giant kites in action at the Festival in Berkeley, CA, on July 30 and 31, 2005.
