Hundreds of overweight people who proudly describe themselves as fat attended the National Association to Advance Fat Acceptance (NAAFA) convention in San Mateo, California, Aug 10-14, 2005. They attended seminars and workshops that educate, inform and promote self esteem and acceptance.
